How to change the date and time on the NEC SV8100

The following procedure documents using administrator access to change the date and time on your NEC SV8100 PABX. If your system does not prompt for a password after dialling #*#* then your systems programming may have been changed from the default. If this is the case you will require a system technician to attend site.

  1. Press Speaker
  2. Dial #*#*
  3. Enter Admin password (default is 0000)
  4. Press Transfer
  5. The display will show ‘Program Mode
  6. Dial 10 01 01
  7. Enter year (e.g., 13 for 2013)
  8. Press Transfer
  9. Enter month (e.g., 05 for May)
  10. Press Transfer
  11. Enter date
  12. Press Transfer
  13. Enter the day of week:
    • 1 = Sunday
    • 2 = Monday
    • 3 = Tuesday
    • 4 = Wednesday
    • 5 = Thursday
    • 6 = Friday
    • 7 = Saturday
  14. Press Transfer
  15. Enter Hour (In 24 hour format e.g., 4pm = 16)
  16. Press Transfer
  17. Enter Minutes
  18. Press Transfer
  19. Enter Seconds
  20. Press Transfer
  21. Press Speaker to save and exit programming
